There will be a K-3 and K-3s to decide between with regards to moire.
I agree. 5fps is quite good for FF, but K-5 precedent for APS-C has been set at 7fps.

What I would like from a K-3 is to have a way to get a RAW 12MP file from the 24 MP sensor and (at 12MP) to have a 10 fps burst (I would accept it even if just in manual focus mode) with at least the same buffer of K-5.

This magazine is the most recent K-3 rumour:
Japanese magazine Nippon Camera predictions for 2013 | Photo Rumors

Just ignore the full-frame prattling of the Photo Rumors guy. He still has Adam's April Fool K-3 posted on his site, and now he's projecting it forward. The magazine OTOH is supposedly a credible source and did predict the D7100, though not the new Nikon APS-C MILC.

That was the rumour, but I'm hoping the delayed announcement is due to a last-minute sensor change to the Sony 20mp, or an upgraded 24mp. The NEX7 sensor is old news.

Well you have right before. I just hope they don't go down the 24mp route. It is not so good for hi-iso.

The 24 Mpix Toshiba version used by Nikon is as good as sony 16 Mpix used by K5 according to DXO

Yes. It must be spankin' new sensor for the Pentax flagship, something still not used or unannounced, or else people will cry ..

It's NEW 24 MP sensor from Sony with 1/3 better high ISO.
