Seriously, I think that if I would buy now K-5 IIs, it would mean FF news with in weeks after purchase...so, maybe..

Pentax USA announced 15 new cameras today!!!

K30, nine colors, many in Shiny and Matte.

God help Pentax Ricoh if they ever do make an official announcement on an April 1st. It would probably go something like this except substitute Pentax K-whatever for Half Life 3 and camera for game...

I also find it funny that someone jokingly said a week or more back (perhaps in this thread) that the new cameras coming were all different shades of the K-30.. and boom.. look what we get. WAY TO GO PERSON WHO SAID THIS.. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE RUMORED A K-3 INSTEAD?

Duke Nukem Forver was announced in 2003 and came out in 2011. A pentax FF is in the makes from 2001?

Nope, DNF dated way back to 1997, shortly after Duke Nukem 3D. I clearly remember seeing those first screenshots all over gaming magazines back in the 90s.

How do I know this? Well, after waiting and waiting, and waiting for Pentax FF camera, I've bought Nikon D600 yesterday. So, in next couple of weeks two things will happen:

Pentax will announce 35mm DSLR
Nikon D600 price will drop

A word of caution. I went through this last year, waiting each day for the imminent Olympus announcement of the XZ-2... which, I was sure, would have all the things I wanted added to my XZ-1. Well, the day came, and it didn't. Raised hopes, dashed. Never bought the new model... which led to my new K-01, recently. And, this time around, I don't have to worry about an upcoming K-02 announcement!
