A message to RiceHigh (or whoever) re the K-3

I said it before in another thread.

Many people are very passionate about this full frame thing, and seem to have an interest in expending huge amounts of time and resources discussing and arguing about it.

Sheesh!

I have better things to do with my time, like take pictures, sort through and develop the good ones, print some of those, and post a few too.

Oh, yeah, and I have to squeeze work in there somewhere too, 'cause I need money for my bad photography habit. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

If you follow a bit Pentax you should know and imagine that one of the first that will allow to test a pentax FF will be Kerrick James or other professional photographers, maybe in japan too, and not an anonymous young boy from Canada.

He is obviously just a kid who scammed his way into some attention found it was the wrong kind and tried to backpeddal while attempting to put blame away from himself, while looking even more stupid in the proccess.

This is a desperate attempt by this kid to try and pass the buck for doing crappy things in public (spreading spurious rumors) and not being willing to be held to account for it.

I was amongst those that posted that a certain person on google+ was posting about testing a K-3, in a now closed thread. Now, I didn't just stumble across this his google+ page. Mike/Milan Svitek had posted in the comments on Photorumors.com about testing the K-3. That's how I came across this name, which I then googled and then found this google+ account. Don't know how google+ works, but it is certainly not a private account.

So, this line about checking sources, when he was the one that initiated contact with PR, nevermind subsequently leading on many other people, is utter nonsense.

His outrage is totally laughable and lacking in any principles. After spreading rumours now he's outraged about someone else doing the exact same thing, trying to cover up his own lousy activities. Geez. Grow up already.

I'm glad to to be a member of a reasonably level-headed forum, where everyone tries to be factual in our reporting, and the folks here generally don't try to incite some kind of more serious hate/cyberbullying campaign. Not sure about other forums. Anyhow I hope he's learned a lesson and can integrate back into the on-line photo community at large. It won't be easy, this will probably follow him around for a while.
