When I called this morning, I was told it was expected incessantly.
L.L.Lozeau doesn't have it yet. The salesman said it was due in March, so they're waiting for it. My supplier (C.D.M. photo in St-Jérome) was told by Pentax that they were shipping this week, but he doesn't have it yet.....

I think most stores in Canada received their shipments this week. The best price I've found thus far for the K200d & K20D have been at Aden Camera in Toronto.

Ottawa is only a 2 hr drive (going slow) from Montreal !!

Given the fact that Ottawa is more or less 200 km. from Montréal, I woudn't really call that "going slow"

So today I dropped by the McBains shop where I bought my K20D Tuesday and they honoured their price guarantee no problem. I used the credit and little cash to pick up the grip.

While there I noticed lots of interest in Pentax. Both the k20 and k200 were drawing customers. One lady I spoke with was switching from film and wanted to keep using her Pentax lenses. A guy there looked like he was fixing to trade a Nikon of some kind in on a k200d. It's a good sign I think.

anyone has experience buying from Prodigital2000 in Stratford Ontario? Currently they have the K20D body for $1175 plus $30 shipping which is the cheapest so far... except that it is online only

I bought my K10D there last September. It was a good price and they kept me informed as to when it was shipped.

Just wanted to add that after noticing my copy of the K20 had a dead pixel, The Camera Store here in Calgary didn't bat an eye to replace it. Good price and I can vouch for the service.

You may wanna try Carman's Foto Source. I have had good experiences with their online sales via prodigital2000. I had bought by k10 with two lenses, battery grip, bag etc ... and the shipments arrived with no problems. I would add them without hesitation to the "short list".

I got mine saturday from Galazy Camera in Ottawa ( But from their EBay site) and got a good deal. The K20D, Grip, 18-55 II Lens, extra battery, 4Gb card and reader, Table tripod, Cleaning kit, UV filter for $1475 +5%tx. I'm very satisfied...

I bought from them my k100d on ebay. Everything was smooth... and pretty good price...
