Let me sum it up quickly:

1. Pentax is about to release an FF - some people will be ecstatic, a few will buy it, others will ignore it and all will continue shooting.
2. Pentax is about to release a new APS-C body - some people will be ecstatic, a few will buy it, others will ignore it and all will continue shooting.
3. Pentax disappears as camera-brand - some people will be ecstatic, a few will sell their equipment , others will ignore it and all will continue shooting.

In other words:stop fussing! If you need FF now, there are lots of nice cameras on the market to purchase. If you want Pentax to survive as a brand, nothing you do (or don't do) will influence that - brands and companies come and go, photography will not change much as such. If you enjoy photography as a hobby or live from it as a profession: just go on doing what the heck it was you did until now.

1a. Some of the people who buy it will tell those who didn't that they're foolish for not buying it because it's not possible to take decent pictures with APS-c.
1b. Some of those who didn't buy it will call those who did foolish because they'll never notice any difference and/or they're just trying to compensate for their skills with better equipment.

Or 4. People at PF stop their wild, unsubstatiated, rumors and wait patiently for an answer to Adam's inquiry.

...Maybe they urgently need to make room for NEW STUFF!
I actually looked at the stuff that KEH has. --- It's clearly clean out the warehouse day... Early K series bodies -- K100, K10 , k20 etc.
Flag dealers aren't going to use display space on these. It's either land fill them or lump them out on clearance...

There isn't much point in keeping them in the warehouse any more.

If KEH really paid $600,000 for that stuff that money can do a lot of promotion over the next 12 months. I can just picture James Malcolm going in the warehouse and thinking, "What in the H*&^ is all this stuff doing here?"

One of those usually causes the other, 1b --> 1a or vice-versa

Wouldn't the $600,000 figure refer to the selling price? I expect KEH paid $300,000.
