This "Japanese only" discussion is interesting. Perhaps we should have a discussion on "US only" for the marketplace on this site, too?

Individuals selling thier gear overseas don't ahve enough experience with international postal services to be comfortable offering overseas. PayPal often doesn't offer the same protections overseas. I sometimes sell world-wide when currency rates make it logical, but I'm always uncomfortable doing it.

I took me only a few minutes to order one last evening. I did it with my Tenso account which I have used for other "japanese only" items.
You ordered one of these watches? Which one!

Been done. There are many reasons, not the least of which is that there are hundreds of different forms that the USPS requires for different destinations. Also, packages over 1lbs must be dropped off in person with ID thereby making it more difficult for folks that work. Additionally, there is the issue of currency and conversions and difficulty tracking the package. I have sold overseas through the marketplace but only to established forum members who agreed that once the package left my hands (and I had proof of mailing) that I could not control its time in transit or what it might cost once their own customs tax people saw it.

I just pre-ordered a K watch Haven't worn a watch regularly since mobile phones came along, which is probably why my phone runs out of battery so quickly!

How about releasing some cameras and lenses!!!
This marketing action sounds at least like a thorough and long-term commitment to K-mount.
Which in it-self is good news.
