Well on the 29th I got an email saying it was back ordered for 30 days and asking if I wanted to cancel. I replied to please cancel the order. Today I got an email stating it had shipped and giving me a tracking number. I guess we will see what shipped in a few days.

Make sure you change the start-up sound to the unhappy baby (I think it's supposed to sound like a cat, but it's hard to tell). That's what I did to the Optio at work. I get a chuckle every time someone turns it on. Nobody's bothered to change it back yet.

OK, the WG3 arrived yesterday. I guess that is about one month from ordering. I will give Pentax points on doing the marketing, (that must have felt strange to them) but I don't think Amazon has to worry about the competition as far as fulfillment and delivery are concerned.

I checked the box and everything is there, including an 8gb card, the warranty and a case. No time to try it today, maybe later tonight.

Yup, I got mine too. So far I like it better than my Olympus TG-1. Although Pentax has nothing on Sony for its panorama modes.
