This is most likely an error from the seller. Pentax would've give them these images and description and some stock which sellers can list after some date. Seller looks like has listed the new camera before announcement.
It is most likely an error from the seller, indeed !

We have got the same story one year ago in France, on PentaxOne, with the first image of the K-30, a few days before the announcement: it was an announcement from another seller (to soon released) ...

«Le nouveau K-50, pourquoi?»

Whatever. Doesn't use the same battery as my K-01, either.

If it's real, it looks like K-30 replacement. It would be wise for Pentax to start making weather-sealed DA L lenses, as it's sort of pointless to bundle a weather-sealed body with non-sealed lenses.

Does it finally feature an aperture coupler?

It's real. Its the same scenario from the Q. Comes from Pentax HQ. If this was already out. The real replacement of K-5 is not far behind. I just wish more lenses for my Q. primes and macro.

This basically is a K-30ii, and I fail to see the point of such a camera. I was expecting a sensor upgrade...

Sort of, unless you consider the goals of making the camera less costly, and having something the consumer wants/needs to buy in addition for full WR operation.
For the consumer it doesn't do much unless it really saves some money which seems unlikely.

/sarcasm Because Pentax needed a press release and they didn't want to use K-30II as a model name?

I hope the info is fake. It suggests a woeful lack of progress unless I'm missing something in the specs.

Maybe it has a new sensor. ISO goes up to 51200.

Cheers,
