Q lenses also have a really flat resolution performance from center to edge so that can be a hint, but at the same time things had fall really quickly. On the other hand performance might be increased slightly due to more diffraction resistance. Like the 02 zoom that has its performance slightly cut due to diffraction at the long end.

With a bit larger sensor we may able to use our adapted lenses at a sharper F stop with less diffraction concerns, assuming they keep the same MP count.

I'm personally hoping for a slightly lower megapixel count. I believe 8 to 10 megapixels should suffice.

Pentax create all the Q lenses for 1/1.7". Just look the new distances, it's so smart!

01 Standar Prime is now a 35mm
02 Standar Zoom is now a 24-70mm
03 Fisheye is now a 15mm
04 Toy-Lens Wide is now a 28mm
05 Toy-Lens Telephoto is now a 85mm
06 Zoom Telephoto is now a 70-200mm

I'd be up for a new Pentax Q with 1/1.17" sensor. I'll just keep my original Q body for those fun telephoto experiments.

Isn't the crop factor for a 1/1.7" sensor 4.55? So that gives us an 01 Prime of 39mm? I pretty much sold my Q because of the lack of a good 28mm prime that wasn't a toy lens.
