It is very nicely done, and I like it a lot.

The production of the TV ad was serious, which the video from set confirms too:

Overall, a very compelling advertising & entertaining effort.

That's a neat sling bag shown at 2:36, looks like it was designed specifically for the Q, with miniature lens inserts. Hope they offer that worldwide.

I think the Pentax Q ones are much better and, along with the Canon one, they have many more views on Youtube.

His name is Osamu Mukai, he was also the endorser of the K-30 in Japan

I just watched this movie called I Have To Buy New Shoes 2012

featuring Osamu Mukai and a Ricoh GXR IV I believe and I saw at the credits that Ricoh was one of the sponsor of this movie.

I wish there was a pentax on this film as well. Oh well at at least Ricoh is doing it's advertisement and trying to tap on early 20's market.

Canon has a lot of money for hiring 2 big names Yui Aragaki (F) and Satoshi Tsumabuki (M)
and Olympus Aoi Miyazaki a lot of Japanese ladies will get crazy over those cameras and ads.
