In case of Ricoh minding Pentax announcements, the right keys to press are F1, then !, followed by ESC.

What has to be expected for a higher-end APS-C model?
A sensor with more megapixels (see Nikon D7100), probably a newer 24MP version from Sony.
What do the yet announced new products tell us?
The new flash units offer a constant light source for videos.
This points towards extended video capabilities and an articulating screen.

The 645DII also is overdue.
The 40MP sensor could have already been replaced by a 50MP version:
KAF-40000 - TRUESENSE 6.0-micron Full Frame CCD Platform - Technologies - Products - Full Frame CCD
KAF-50100 - TRUESENSE 6.0-micron Full Frame CCD Platform - Technologies - Products - Full Frame CCD
Maybe they have even a better solution now.

What about the omnidirectional camera?

There are also diffident rumors about another mirrorless.

Nooooooo, no K-3 just yet, as I would be forced to purchase it, or any other significant upgrade to the K-30 (or even K5) range....

As it is, am going to have to get one of the WR flashes!
