Because that's exactly the same situation.

Yes it is the same situation and not for the reasons you express. Sony has a few E mount lenses that are Full Frame and many that are not. Pentax has a few DA lenses that are full frame and several that are not.

I am not here putting Pentax down.

Nothing outrageous

We'll all see what it means the next year. So far what we have is the long lens cancelled by Hoya (HD DA560mm), the updating/recoating of existing lenses and the K-3.
