New HD DA Limited lenses

You know, the new box design is like, really awesome and sexy. Much better than pentax's star wars esque design of the DA line. I really want to see what they'll do to the uninspiring grey accessory boxes, those are some of the worst boxes I've ever seen.

I for one welcome our new Ricoh overlords.

Just to throw a little oil on the fire: I just imported my first DNG's from the k-3 into Lightroom. Which reports the camera make as: RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD. Model: PENTAX K-3

Does this mean that all lenses and cameras shall henceforth be categorized as Ricoh in LR? i.e. Do I filter my LR library for a Ricoh FA31 LTD in future versions of LR?

PS> I don't really care as long as things get better.. and I may have to sell my "Pentax" gear soon anyway to finance a super tele or fast tele zoom for my D800e.

Well the lens came out as "Pentax F 50mm f/1.7" if that helps

Heh. In my experience companies change names when the old one has a bad smell due to non payment of bills. Considering the recent Kodak settlement, maybe I'm not too far off. I for one think Ricoh is doing a fine job so far. The checks have Ricoh on them, the cameras and lenses have Pentax.

Go to your CP and delete the thread from your Subscribed Threads list. Then don't click on the thread link.
