Sounds reasonable.
Unless there is a real IQ improvement versus SMC, i guess street prices should drop seriously and quickly - say about 20% by mid 2014

Strange pricing of the DA15 though, on the webshops I checked a few minutes ago the DA15 was way more expensive than both the DA70 and DA35 macro. And here it's the other way around???

From the above list:

DA15 - 599

You're quoting the non hd lenses.and the da15 can be got cheaper
the 21 ltd cost €519 but non hd prices are known yet

You're right, I quoted the smc versions. But the prices should be relatively be the same inside the same category (smc and HD), shouldn't they?

secondly, hasn't the DA 15 really rounded blades, that lacks to other models ?

I got the price info this afternoon through an official newsletter from Ricoh Imaging Deutschland GmbH.
I used copy&paste to insert the price list in my post.

So, if there are errors, Ricoh would be to blame.

Gonna go pickup a DA15 Limited for $500 today CAD unless one believes the HD version is going to be better and worth the extra coin?

I got the following on my wishlist:

GoPro Hero3
HLD-6 Grip (for OMD EM5)

I can only get two today... :P

I think Ricoh is just making up what ever price they want.

I can't understand why the SMC version of the 35mm macro is priced at £369 in SRS, and the HD version is £639. Did the get the numbers jumbled up, or does it come in a baby ocelot fur soft case? It is very hard to comprehend the massive increase in price of this particular lens. It may be time to snap up the non-HD one while it lasts!
