No one hates Pentax, because Pentax is very much like Steve Wozniak of the PC industry, a guy who invented all the good things we take today for granted. A legend; maybe out of shape, but a legend.
Even Nikon and Canon users love Pentax, and what Pentax may stand for.

I've always bought the grip with the body K10d and k7 but I think I might pass on the grip this time. Yes I'm buying this camera even if it doesn't out perform the K5ii because it's time for my k7 to retire. I don't get the anti Ricoh bias a few people have, Ricoh has made some really great cameras and seem to just plug along at their own pace making a camera better and better.
