What's this - K-3?

I want to believe...

The start of a trickle of product images out of China or Peru or somewhere about K-3 is however overdue, if it is coming in October.

EDIT: in looking at the mirror box of the posted image, and comparing it to the K-5, you can see that the lug for the two gold power zoom contact plugs on the posted image is noticeably further forward, almost right up to the mount edge, than it is on the K-5, where it sits somewhat more recessed. (Pic below related).

In the original pic, you probably wouldn't be able to mount a lens and turn it to lock.

Let's speculate the price, shall we?

Even if it is just announce that they are developing it, and show a prototype like this, will keep us happy.

It's a fake. The MOUNT is facing to the left and out of alignment with the body plus the colour of the body immediately surrounding the mount is slightly different. The mount is also wider on the right hand side suggesting it's been scaled to fit the body.

I attempted to enhance the mirror box part of the image a bit. Put side by side to rawr's image for a better comparison. Make up your own opinion. (Thanks rawr)

To me the mirror/sensor assembly appears to be quite a bit out of plane to the rest of the body. As previously stated, which suggests it got planted there from a different cam. And to give it a bit of legitimacy the lens release button got altered to fulfill this purpose.

We'll see
