If you look at the 5 in "K-5" the curl is close to the leg of the K and under the "-". On the other image there is nothing close to the leg of the K. If there was a "3" there would surely have to be a little bit of white showing (?). The prism also seems to come a lot further towards the mount, as I presume it would have to if it were FF (as with the bigger mirror). I think it may be the real deal. But I don't think it will say K-3.

well rumors were hearsays and unaccounted, may be we can wait for a few more weeks.
until a new "PENTAX" by RICOH came out.
remember the 360fgz mark II which is only treated as paperware?
then pentax came out with 2 "new" WR Flashes. HD DA Ltd. lenses were not even assumed to be true, so are the K50 and K500's
we are too busy waiting for the Full frame thing, I may be a newbie here, but i am pretty sure that when a full frame came out
only a few of us can afford it.

Imagine Pentaxians demanding FF for over a decade, and they forget to save up for it for when it suddenly does arrive. Then I would instantly stop believing in Darwins theory.

Doesn't appear to have bothered Nikon too much, having released an F4 and a D4.

Right, it's also visible by the dimensions of the steel bayonet mount: the actual ones since some generations are broader - some mm more diameter on the outside - to provide some more flat contact surface for the rubber seals of the new AW/WR lenses.

"Ricoh at the back" means Ricoh on the bottom, just like myK-01 has Hoya on the bottom and my K10D has Pentax on the bottom.

We've been over this a hundred times.
