I agree, a quick google at previous Pentax bodies shows it has some unique aspects.
In the end, if it is real, what does this picture tell us? It's an SLR (big surprise), same size (ish) as K5 (big surprise), called K3 (big surprise), takes APS-C K-mount lenses (big surprise)....um....Bueller...
I guess possible compatibility with existing grips would be the only 'good news' aspect of this image (if you
have a compatible grip, that is).
As a K20D owner wanting something with 'pro' credentials / capabilities, I'm far more interested in what a new camera can
do.
I guess we will all know soon.
