I imagine that guy, in his basement, having a good laugh because a picture he photoshoped is creating so many posts in a thread.

LOL actually laughing myself! This could be true but how many times was it faked...

Looks like more evolution and less revolution.

Pretty plain looking, but that is not very important.
Don't worry. I'm sure you can spice it up by ordering one in any of 700 unique color combinations.

Looking forward to the formal announcement, APSC or FF it's going to be a great camera which will probably make me part with some money, my K5 needs a sibling.

New higher pentaprism reminds me of the Kx vx Kr. The Kr's prism was higher to accomodate the focus points the Kx lacked of. So... new auto focus system?

I already have a K-5II, but I have been considering adding a second body...

In this case, the K-5II would become that second body!

Is Pentax Ricoh dribbling out information like this purposely? That looks like a product photo. If so, I'm impressed.

Evolution is fine. A photographer needs a pragmatic tool more than revolutionary changes just to woo him/her into buying the tool.

No, the auto focus sensors are located at the bottom of the camera. I think it has a larger viewfinder.

If i remember right, Pentax stated back at the time that the Kx lacked focus points because of the prism housing design and that they changed it in the Kr to add them. I think Kr's and Kx's viewfinders were the same size.

No prism.
In the K-x, it's all done by mirrors!
