While I do like the K-5 design, as a left-eye shooter the ergonomics leave a LOT to be desired. That whole panel of controls on the right of the body rear (AF button, green button, AF switch) is in-accessible when shooting unless I move my face away from the eyepiece - or tilt my face about 90 degrees away.
That's my problem, too. I'm left eye dominant and shoot cameras, rifles, and snooker with the camera/rifle/cue with the ":wrong" eye.

Damn!
No pentamirror. No old flash system. No old 11-point AF. No more huge video files.
Disappointed.

This is the point. Maybe the 18-135 was faked in to hide the fact that the bodies have different sizes. Better check for the size of the front dial or the mode dial and it becomes obvious that the K-3 is a bigger cam (at least that's my first impression - not measurement).
Use the shutter button on this picture and size it to an equivalent of the shutter button on a K-5 and you get a better idea...

If the camera is indeed called a K3 it will not be a FF. K3 will be a cropped sensor since the naming convention is in line with all of the other series K10, K20 K7, K5. If Pentax produces a FF expect a difference series such as KF, LX or something else.

The K-x is better than the K-5 in this regard. I gave up using the green button on the K-5 and never use the K-5's AF button either, because it's too awkward.

I wonder what proportion of camera users around the world are left eye shooters. I notice that the control spacing on some cameras and brands (Canon random eg 6D and Nikon random eg D7100) seems a bit more accommodating to left-eye shooters. I doubt that was accidental.

Honestly, I hope it's a larger prism. While I can see it being useful sometimes, I think it'd be too difficult to get great weather sealing with it. It is doable, but I'd rather the larger prism.

Olympus E-5, OM-D
Panasonic GH2, GH3

Swivel screens are especially helpful with video.

No, the auto focus sensors are located at the bottom of the camera. I think it has a larger viewfinder.
Agree. Rumoured specs from the other thread indicated 100% frame, 0.95x (0.92%) viewfinder. That would place it in line with the D7100.
