Makes sense. Pentax have probably been studying Nikon closely.

The larger viewfinder hump on the K-3 also suggests that the K-3 may feature the same ".. high-intensity, high-contrast and energy-saving organic EL display element" that has been newly incorporated into the D7100's viewfinder.

Pic related, from the Nikon D7100 features page:
OLED view finder would surely be awesome, that way the viewfinder becomes as useful as the LCD display potentially can be during live-view shooting but the one thing I have heard from the D7100 and Sony a- users is that night-photography can be a bit tedious without being able to see the raw image through the viewfinder,

Cool enough though, I'm excited to see what comes.

More ergonomics the better for me. It looks shaped to be a thumb rest with the left hand under the lens. Also I hope that massive viewfinder finds its way in. After looking through my k30, then my MX, then my 6x7, bigger is definitely better!

Your minds are all gonna be blown!

Yes, it does look like a prototype. Prism housing is big, along with strong grips in all sides and seems larger than a K5...

Oh no, sounds like the screwdrive-destroying Sony cameras!

maybe the bulg on the left side is a high speed/high torque ultra quiet autofocus motor.

I doubt this is a prototype. No need to have the "K-3" name on a prototype.

I don't think it has anything to do with AF motor (why would it, motor in lens is the new sh#t). Or has something to do with RGB-sensor (not in light path). Left is functions for mirror/shutter imo.

Pentax told us earlier this year they would give us a whole new aproach to FF. Could it be a FF multi aspect sensor?

A 30.6 * 37.7 mm sensor that could be cropped to:

21.2 * 37,7 (16:9)
24 * 36 (3:2)
26 * 34.6 (4:3)
30.6 * 30.6 (1:1)

Without even breaking the 43.3 mm image circle.

still could be FF

The DA 70 lens is fullframecapable, as you can read in the Pentaxforums not only once, without bad vignetting.
So the possibillity of FF is still there but features like GPS, WIFI, detachable lcd and OLED Viewfinder sound nice
