I feel like one of the only ones who DOESN'T want an EVF. Better electronic overlay in a larger viewfinder (100% in a 1.00x viewfinder?) and a better flash system (in body wireless control and 1/250th sync please?) however, that would be great.

As for the "hump", I would like the to be GPS, and under the flap is just the on/off button, with the flap there so it can't be pressed accidentally. Wifi capability would be very nice for tethering. I think the AF mode button is going to be good, especially if you can cycle through the AF point modes, and AF-S and different tracking modes. Hopefully the tracking AF is much improved too!

I really like the look from that angle, actually. I would rather have a simple AF/MF switch with a button to cycle AF modes. That would be a nice improvement. It is, however, sad to see a DA lens on it. I was hoping that if this were a crop sensor it would be a smaller factor than APS-C. I'de be totally happy with a 1.1 or 1.2 factor in lieu of ever having a FF.

The hump holds bird food. It's the perfect new feature for the Pentax shooter. There is an additional hump in the new grip for the 'senior sets' medication.

It would be a pretty neat trick if the GPS (including astrotracer function) is incorporated into the body. Ive enjoyed using that, but hate the bright blue light on the O-GPS1 unit.

So I guess the DA Lens is a clear sign of the fact that it' s going to be a crop camera. I do not know what the big deal would be with the lenses, cause you can release 2- 3 the first half year, 3 more by the end of the year, and so on- build a line- up in time. But unfortunately, I guess it isn' t a FF.

I believe 70mm Ltd is FF compatible (as well as 40mm Ltd), but yes, I'd agree, that it is a pretty strong sign that it isn't FF.

The little bulge on the left is the tachyon eddy arva node.
It has a dual purpose, as you will soon read all about it.

The hump is for the new and proprietary Pentax PDIS, the Pixie Dust Injection System. The cover on the end allows it to be refilled.

If you think Limited lens prices are high, wait 'til you find out how much a pixie dust refill is!

Oh, the dust seals are to keep the pixie goodness in.
So they've adopted the printer/copier model? Give the hardware away at cost and make your money on the consumables?

Though I'm only speculating, I'm almost certain any FF camera Pentax may develop would function in some type of crop mode. I guess that's my way of saying the lens attached doesn't define the sensor size.

"tachyon eddy arva node" this sounds like something a Trekkie would come out with

some type of crop mode.

Just out of curiosity, does Nikon offer square crops for DX lenses that cover the entire APS-C image circle? I ain't into 135, but that kind of option on DA glass would be pretty neat really.
