27 AF points of which 25 cross-type, the efficiency of the 3 central AF points being enhanced with lenses the aperture of which is f/2,8 or greater.

Translating from the original article,

"There are 27 AF focus points (25 are cross type), centre three are f/2.8 sensitive type."

Also, in regards to smartphone interoperability, an optional "FLUCARD" is required. There's an interesting comment on the original site where one poster speculated the possibility of using the phone's display as "variangle" monitor.

AF to take advantage of color information on photometric sensor - is this related to tracking? I remember seeing something similar being referenced when tracking techniques of other cameras were described

Yes, it is. Being colour-sensitive, the tracking system will avoid to change target when something else suddenly crosses the detection area of the AF point locked on the target.

If this is accurate, I'd gladly ditch my Canon 7D for shooting sports and birds. When you build a body like this, however, it serves your customers far better to offer a fast focusing ultrasonic zoom in the 80-400mm range like Canon and Nikon have.
