Honnestly I think we can say that this worth the wait. The specs are great!
New AF! FLU compatibility! No AA filter + "SR-AA similator"... All that I wanted!

Hmm, ISO range 100-51200? What happened to ISO 80 like in the K-5?

But in-camera this could be a first? However, JPG only no doubt.
Obviously. You now can get purple K-5 AWB in both shadows and sun, even at sunset!

Noticed that too. But then again, how big is the difference? If it were ISO 50... yes probably

So what is this sensor an updated Sony or a Toshiba? 23.5*15.6 24.71 mp is very much like the nex-7 but it's got more high iso space en less effective pixels 24.3 vs 23.35 (where did they lose 1.35 mp anyway? Typo?

The 25 cross points is true... this camera is the D400 / 8D killer if the focusing / locking speed is good with high end glass. Isn't this the highest number of points in any camera ever bar the Canon 1D4? Reviews now pleaseeee.

Too bad about the flash sync, but I guess they have to prioritize. (< this made me feel better about switching; can't afford the K-3 yet anyway)

And new battery grip: boo

WTF... They once again "forget" WiFi... Then I will continue to take pics of my k-5 screen with the phone and upload them to facebook when I'm out. Welcome to late 2013. When are they going to adopt cheap P&S tech like GPS, NFC and WiFi to dSLRS?

Almost embarrasing to that read you can use the dual slot for slow and expensive eye-fi cards.

Nice camera tho.

Any info on focus peaking?

The K5II body is now around 800€ here, hope that the K-3 is not going to be 1300€, because then I am going for the K5II body.

I think the FLU card thing can fix that. Well, I find this option good enough (wireless tethering too, if that's how Pentax envisions it done)

Guess you didn't read the part about the FLU Card:

"and go beyond wireless functionality with the new FLU card SDHC technology for complete remote camera control, and image transfer."

So yes, you have to pay for it if you want it

Fortunately it has also 14 bits/channel RAW with that fast continuous shooting.
