K3 is listed by ricoh/pentax

The K3 is official at least as early as 7AM Monday Eastern Standard Time. It is listed on the Ricoh/Pentax official website with full specifications.

(ricoh-imaging). BUT, cannot yet order one from their website. AND, thank goodness, it uses the same battery as the K5 etc.

K3 Specs

Specs look wow! but for high speed flash sync speed. Pentax is still hanging on to180, It would have been super had pentax addressed this as well. But I wonder is there a reason why Pentax didn't address this?

The K3 is not yet listed on B&H, BUT, if you hurry, you can still get a K50 in pink and violet. Make a statement!

BTW: I notice that interchangeable screens will again be available. Wonder what styles will be offered. Hope there's a microprism suitable for macro work, or maybe one suitable for long teles that have manual focus.

The specs list the same focusing screens that have been used since the K-7, so I expect nothing much to change there. I'm ok with that because that means my (expensive) KatzEye will still fit.

I don't think they care. It's the one thing that really pissed me off when I was shooting in nightclubs when I lived in Myrtle Beach, SC. I guess you can't have everything.

404 page not found, as of 625 PDT. Guess the page is wired and ready now, but hidden for now - at least from me?
