i don't know how they can be better
DFA Limiteds could be
1/quick shift.
2/weather sealed.
3/HD coating for better flare resistance.
4/have 9 curved aperture blades.
5/comes with free swimsuit model

FF body will be the same as the K3, and launched in June 2014, but no idea about new lenses or whatever.
Best Regards

No. FF will be released on April 1st! *scnr* ... not offending your credibility but those rumours exist since years so I believe it when I see the official announcement

This is not exactly a rumor, as the source appears to be Ricoh Imaging Russia

And 8.3FPS too~
Well with a new 60 megapixel sensor I guess we are happy when the PRIME III can digest 1 fps.

Did Ricoh Russia explain why the K-3 manual wasn't available in Russian translation yet?

Will everything required for FF fit in the current K-3 body?
Would the pentaprism for FF need to be larger? Ditto for the SR mechanism.

Removes the last lingering doubt about K-3 for me. Already ordered but if FF was soon I would second guess myself. Now no worries
Assuming any truth to rumor of course.

Anyway "sounds like a plan"!!

?????????? Google

1. FF will be next year. Not later than Photokina 2014. Maybe, on spring or summer, 2014.
2. New DFA lenses will be offered. New 2.8 zooms will be made.
3. New Limited Zoom will be real.
4. New WR lenses will be launched.
5. K-01 is failed because of design. Mirrorless cameras - Ricoh will offer something new.
6. New 645D will be later. It will be different from 645D. It was plans to launch 645DII this year, but the situation is changed.
7. SMC DA LIMITED are discontinued.
This more confirms in my mind that the 645D MkII will be a mirrorless with a much larger sensor due to the approaching FF sensors. There are rumours of 54MP FF cameras up to 75MP (forget that one) so the 645D II will have to be 60MP at least, but more probably 80MP, to stay ahead of the curve. I've been predicting a modular 645D II for ages now and people manage get a laugh out of that but it does make sense to me, at least. Ricoh must realize the advantages of a mirrorless 645D as the A7 cameras are proof of the size reduction that can occur within a format that is normally quite large physically.

Another thing that points to a new FF is the fact we don't have HD updated FA limited lenses yet. I expect those lenses will be discontinued after being upgraded with a larger image circle and HD coatings to allow coverage of a FF sensor with SR.

There is a lot more to gain from MF mirrorless than from APS-C. Removing the huge mirror box and OVF seriously reduces size. MF shooters don't need 8fps or D4 AF tracking. CDAF is more than fast enough for MF.

And with a shorter flange, you could use DA and FA lenses in a crop mode. Something you can't do with the 645D today.
