=> Spending more time to look and search and manipulate, than to shoot through the EVF, doesn't appear to be of any photographical efficiency... but that's mho.
I don't know about you but I shoot mostly manual or aperture priority with spot metering.
If this camera is customisable one can set aperture with the back wheel, exposure compensation with the front wheel on Av and see the corrections live through the EVF…is that good or what?
I had been put off by EVFs until recently when I handled the NEX-7 and the OM-D E-M1; I am beginning to think that the disavantage of framing through a TV set might be compensated by the large image, the extra info and the ablity to have an instant feedback whenever whe change a certain parameter like depth of field, WB or exposure compensation.
