The DA limited is 20-40? and WR?!

DA Limited Zoom is 20-40...

?????????????HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR????????? - ????info

HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR
it appear it is 20-40mm f2.8-f4.

A bit disappointed with the aperture value, and the weird range (30mm-60mm in 135mm format), unless this lens is like super pancake?

it is WR though! first WR Limited lens!

PENTAX 08 Wide Zoom Lens
HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR

Update with picture. Available in Black and Silver!

I remember the teleconverter is DA*, now it is DA?

More important, IMO, is the fact that it's going to be a DC lens. Finally no more loud AF is Pentax's beautiful lenses

You know what, with my DA 21 Ltd out of commission and the desire to have more WR lenses, I think this lens is pretty fantastic for me. If it is a compact zoom, that'd be amazing.

Thanks for the info.

The worst thing about the limited lenses IMO was the lack of WR. So that's been addressed... we'll see how good the lens is otherwise...

Pentax) announced in a few days the "F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm" Ricoh?
From readers, we have to provide information about the new interchangeable lens of two Ricoh (Pentax).

possibility that Ricoh imaging in the near future, to announce the replacement lens of two of the following high.
PENTAX 08 Wide Zoom Lens
HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR
Was published in the lens road map of Mount Q "08 Wide Zoom Lens" is like a "WIDE" lens. This lens Once released, I will be able to walk through cover to the telephoto from ultra wide-angle PENTAX Q.

"F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm" is like a DA Zoom Limited which appeared in the lens road map of K mount as viewed from the focal length. Details are unknown, and the DC motor is built from the name, that you are in drip-proof structure seems to be a mistake. The focus area that is not seen much, this lens, it is going to be a lens quite unique.

Weird, I get this:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /2013/10/hd-pentax-da-20-40mm-f28-4-ed.html on this server.

Apache/2.2.25 Server at digicame-info.com Port 80

.

Not that I can read it anyway...

I've always thought a 15-40 wr Ltd would be nice because I carry just the 15 and 40 quite a bit. This would be fairly similar. Carrying this and the 15 as a compact kit might be pretty sweet.

I will reserve judgement...but 40mm f4 is not very interesting to me.

So did I, but my Firefox browser also offered Google translate,
and that did work, giving the text that @NickLarsson posted.

"that you are in drip-proof structure seems to be a mistake"

So not yet clear if it really will be WR.
