Surprises at Salon de la Photo, Paris (7 november)

According to Ricoh Imaging France (Invitation gratuite au Salon de la Photo 2013 - Actualités de Pentax - RICOH IMAGING EUROPE S.A.S) there are some surprises to expect at their booth at the Salon de la Photo, Paris (which is held from nov. 7)

"Et surtout, des surprises vous attendent sur notre stand!"

Of course, one of these surprises will be the HD DA 20-40/2.8-4 Limited. But the other surprise(s)???

Not sure of what surprises would be scheduled, but I'll be there and will definitely check out the stand and give a quick report here afterwards...

Second surprise: Silver 20-40 Limited

Ow I'm very temted to go. I have an entrycard and it was on my scedule. Maybe I can re-arange my weekend.

I do not expect a full frame!!!!!!

I guess maybe the K-3 will be presented overhere, or can you already buy it in Europe?

Weren't there rumors of a f/2.8 Medium Zoom (DA*?) That just dropped out of the backchatter completely.

Yes there was. I seem to remember one poster (Uluru?) indicating that they knew about it's existence and that it was constant f/2.8 and remarkable for it's range, something like 16-70.

So that lens - whatever the reality of its specs - could be one surprise.

So:

1) Wide Q zoom
2) HD limited zoom
3) 2.8 mid zoom

Could be the the surprises.

I think it was Kunzite. bdery attended a show in Canada over the weekend. In his recap of a convo with the Pentax Rep he was told there are MANY WR lenses / upgrades coming. The guy said (that which shall not be named) is coming next Christmas but he claimed not to have heard about the 20~40.
