I have been thinking of a 10mm lens, have the DA15LTD. One thing I noticed is that this 10mm prime is almost as heavy as the autofocus Sigma 10-20. Has anyone done head-to-head comparison with the Sigma yet?

I've been using Samyang 14mm for almost 2 years and I'm thinking to go for 10mm.
Should I stay or should I go !?! What do you think?

Is it significantly sharper than a sharp version of 14mm? And I guess there is no hard stop infinity in this model either. Calibration is quite easy though.

How do you calibrate the infinity stop? Do you simply loosen the screws in the focusing ring and re-align it?

Good to know in case I need to do that, thanks. I just got my 10mm today before I left for work and hoping to test it out tonight on some stars and night scapes after work.

I was looking for a wide fast lens for Aurora Borealis and didn't find any perfect lens for Pentax. Right now I have the Sigma 20/1.8.
I was looking at zooms, but they are all pretty slow for the northern lights (where are you Tokina?).
I was looking at the 14/2.8 or the 16/2.0 but non are really that extremely wide.
I was looking at the 15/4 but it's a tad slow.
I was looking at the Sigma 10/2.8 fisheye, but it's less versatile due to being a fisheye.

Then this one got a release date!
My Samyang 14mm did a perfect job for the Northern lights also has been great for catching lightning shots I don't think you will be disappointed.

I just ordered the 10mm from amazon on sat. night. I should have it towards the tail end of this week, or beginning of next week..... now if we get cloudless nights on the other hand is the mystery.
