I note that the Pentax name is on two of the displays this time. While it may assuage some fears about the name disappearing, I think it's just that wiser marketing heads have prevailed for CP+.

Thanks for posting. It looks good, it covers pretty much everything - including image gallery, workshops...

Personally I would be very interested in the "Approaching the secret of Pentax Ricoh!" Special Interview series and the [World of Kazutoshi Yoshimura sized sensor produces] series. I hope there will be live video feed or some recorded material available.

Looks like they're going to have a K-3 bar with a famous bartender :-) The google translate is hilarious: "...the brilliant performance of Tomita Akiko attracting attention as a talented bartender flare too beautiful. I am strong in moving body image pickup..."

Very nice!

Their mock-up shows a dramatic yet well-organized layout. The overview of the various show elements - including bartender show (for taking pictures), lens bar, and stages - really emphasizes a 'touch, feel and try' approach. That's a very good strategy for the Pentax line. I also like the way they've arranged the series of lenses along the wall in the rear area - eye-catching! And visitors will be able to walk right up to the wall of K-50 colour.

"Approaching the secret" sessions may be new product announcements?
Nevertheless, it all looks fabulous. Whoever goes to visit the Ricoh Imaging at CP+, will enjoy immensely, undoubtedly.

Is that Convention booth floor layout (the 5 large booths in a row) the same as CES?

Nope. It's kind of an interview by Kimio Tanaka, who asked about FF for a Pentax guy "before a tea was served". Mr. Tanaka, a car photographer, is notable for his candid talk in almost of all Pentax's presentations like a new product announcement or CP+. I saw him at a K-3 presentation held in Tokyo last time.

I guess he's going to talk with some Pentax's product development guys, but you don't expect much from it. They're very tight-lipped especially for FF. I'm afraid that they'll reiterate the same phrase as recent interviews. Even so, his talk is very interesting.

Kazutoshi Yoshimura is supposed to talk about landscape photography with the 645D. I don't think he'll get into the next generation of the 645D, but it remains a possibility that Pentax stops him from doing so even if he has a beta version.

You'll see this at CP+.

Pentax wants you to know how better the K-3 is for shooting moving subjects.

Maybe they will finally be announcing the pentax line of drinking vessels disguised as fake lenses, but they will actually be DA limited shot glasses.

We already have Canon and Nikon lens mug. How about a K-01-look-like camera bag like this? I have once seen a girl carry that kind of a bag.
