Give them some slack, praise them, in order to open them up more to tell us something beyond defensive, inconclusive gibberish.
I would personally open the conversation with a series of questions about the Q line, its probable future (from user's perspective), new lenses (which users would find attractive), then asked about DA* lenses, 645D II, possible different style of cameras for the K-mount (user's ideas), and concluded with an assertion that questions about the FF were omitted deliberately.
For if the FF is coming indeed, we lose a powerful myth to believe in, and the reality as we knew shall crumble.
