What if the "new GXR" will be just lensor modules that interfaces by wi-fi with smartphone or tablets? LIke the Sony, Kodak, Sakar ones but with larger sensors and better lenses? Maybe with long reach wi fi connection, to be used also as remote cameras? The Theta seems to point to Ricoh being involved in research to interface smartphones and lenses...
