Do you think we should ask the moderators to add a new category for posting photos to go along with Nature, Macro, Landscape etc. .. we can have Sucktastic for those images we are just too afraid to label as being serious?

February is ANZ; April is Washington, D.C. (Dogwood Festival); August is Canadian Plains (Toronto); October is St. Louis (fall color, harvest moon).

So before the next contest is conceived, go ahead and challenge yourself just to post a few pictures.

I'm well aware of moderating Internet forums. I formerly moderated the PvP sections at Guild Wars Guru & Guild Recruitment at Guild Wars 2 Guru. Try moderating 13 year old e-peening PvPers.

I understand the feeling and at one stage had an on and off feeling towards the monthly contests. Sometimes I was forcing an image just to enter. My view now is that if I have something I want feedback on, I'll submit. And if I get more votes, or a bigger % of the votes than the previous time, or a % of the votes above average, I've done well. It is about challenging myself, but in no ways do I see it as a competition with anyone else.

just posting to help with the contest. Does anyone have any down sides with the K-x. I own one and was wondering if I should look out for something. So far it's done all that I asked.
