RF Remotes For The K-5 II

Would I be off topic if I asked about radio frequency remotes for the K-5 II? I'm looking for recommendations and advice from other Pentax owners about such an animal. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I've added the score calculation to the first post, to make things a bit clearer. The full details can still be found on the homepage, and the live leaderboard will show you the current scores.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

I could always use a new lens but what I really want in a digital camera that works like the K-1000. It would make it a lot easier to use the old manual lens. I loved just having to put the needle in the circle and knowing the exposure would be right.

Thanks for clarifying. I think that will help folks out! I've noticed that I have posted more in other threads today vs just BS in the behemoth thread!

It's a great promotion. Who would look such excellent gift horses in the mouth? Well done PF.

I agree with those who like rewards for quality and not just quantity. The standard of posts is generally very high, but every now and then there is one post that stands out as a likely future reference. Those brilliant posts deserve special recognition. If there is ever another giveaway, I would like to see a prize for "Post of the month" - perhaps the moderators or "elders" could pick a shortlist of say 6 or 8 (subjective choice, but that's OK) and we could vote for the grand prize, with consolation prizes for the other finalists.

Adding the likes to the equation is a good idea but it isn't infallible. All someone needs is a friend to swap some likes with. You can tell I am not cheating because I predict I will have no likes.

Well I'm retired, or a "pensioner" as you would say, but I doubt I'll win any prizes, I just don't have enough to say. Besides I'm a relative noob to digital photography and nobody is likely to be "liking" my posts.

"I still haven't written the script that's going to be tracking the winners/current frontrunners, but it's quite likely that raw postcount will be augmented in some way using likes or something to that effect.

Now that's a recipe for some lively discussion. It's a great idea Adam, but I think you're heading for a bun fight.

Each person's likes only count once. So you'd need a lot of friends. And those friends would be hurting themselves by giving out free likes, which is why they won't do it

Adam. How do you determine the misuse of multiple accounts in this contest?
