Well this has been for years and I should add that...This is exactly what a roadmap is.
Of course it could change following market.Otherwise that's not a roadmap.

In addition to the 200 and 300, are there other DA lenses that are known to cover the full frame image circle?

This is the main thread on the topic. started by Falk Lumo.

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/31629-da-le...ts-thread.html

..actually I think it was linked a few pages back amongst this discussion.

DA14, DA15, DA21, DA35macro definitely not.
None of the zooms except the DA*60-250

DA40, DA70 with a bit of vignetting, little off in the corners

DA*55, DA 35/2.4 DA50/1.8 DFA100WR, DA*200 , DA*300 and the DA*60-250 (which suprised me) are.

I wouldn't say "definitely". From the samples I've seen, it vignettes at longer distances, but not at close focus to macro distances. At longer distances, the vignetting seems to be removable with less than an APS-C crop. In general, many of the DA lenses could be used on FF with less cropping than 1.5x.

Pentax will only say that it is Full Frame if it is really 100% sure a full frame lens. A accidentally working lens, optimized for APS-C won't do it. A full frame lens has to be sharp for the whole image circle of a full frame.

I hope they will release a HD DFA 50mm 2.8 Macro WR with the new full frame body. Good alternative to the DA35 Ltd.

At this point, there is no "new FF body" on the horizon. Still just hopeful dreams of customers.

But in consideration, the DA lenses that work on FF in that thread were given the requirement of either no loss of corner IQ or small loss only. So the DA 35 F2.4, DA*55 F1.4, DA*200, DA*300, and DA*60-250 work on FF with good corner quality.

Would be nice to have a DFA 50 WR yep.

After wading through all this goulash of fact and dream I have one big question:
why is the roadmap always in a different spot on the web? I keep making bookmarks, and two months later they still show the old roadmap

OK that's all, speculate away again

The DA 60-250 has unacceptably heavy vignetting on FF

Unfortunately, no. Bad news for us DA 60-250 owners.

The DA 60-250 has unacceptably heavy vignetting from 85mm to 250mm when used with a full frame camera.

Sample images.

Those two DA (L?)'s would make really inexpensive FF starting kits. Not sure about the price of, say the Nikkor 35 1.8G (FX) but if the DA35 2.4 really works fine on FF then it's probably one of the cheapest options out there. Lucky buyers!

...well, IF Pentax releases an FF that is.

But since digital era, Pentax haven't released FF yet. Even when the K-mound's road map is updated, you said in DPR forum no clear information for FF. why why why ?
