Actually I think it just means * lens. It just happens that only DA*s have been current for a while.
Clearly it will be a FF lens (unless the map changes). OTOH, The two DA zooms on the left are obviously APS-C, because they're too wide to be anything else. The longer DA zoom may ultimately work on FF, like some of the current DA glass already can.
The big question is whether this new ~70-200/2.8 will be designed and made by Pentax or someone else. It could be the latest Tamron that Tamron refuses to sell us directly (although I hope it's not).
In any case, be prepared to spend as much as Sigma and Tamron's latest lenses, boys and girls! (Hopefully Ricoh will be wise enough not to charge more than Canon's non-IS version!)
