Any-way, don't fed us up with DEVIL (Digital Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lenses) in every sensor format .

If so, Sony, Panasonic and Fuji are your solutions providers. High prices for standard image quality... and irregular compacity.

Whilst Pentax/Ricoh has already well enough understood the coherence of DSLR-satz in Q or GR systems.

Yep, young people only want phones.

And most old people really want skinny, shiny hipster plates with single-mm register distances and small aperture lenses.

None of the people i know that has bought mirrorless (nex and olympus mainly) have any large apperature tele lenses.
I'm 27 and I prefer a dslr over the mirrorless system just for the balance in my hand.

I have not tried a MF viewfinder but i would think so. I very much prefer FF viewfinder over my K-5. However i have trouble seeing the problem with a giant high quality EVF.

You don't need a huge lens to take a a long distance photo.

Of course. It's amazing, really. Would be even better with fast glass but it's still way better than my MX, which has one of the best viewfinders ever made for 135.

True enough, that is why I was careful to say large aperature, AND long focal lengths. These samples are all good (taken in fairly strong light), but not really great technical quality if we are honest. But compared to the cost of a FZ70 one can not complain Fully extended i would say the lens on the Fz70 is kind huge.

Just imagine a Nex with a Sigma 50-500. The balance will be awful.

Do you know of any small 1200mm eqiv lenses ? Most people use the 50-500 on a monopod or tripod so what is the problem ?

No i don't know of any. That was the point. If you want tele and large apperature, MILC gives clumsy handling. Even if I use a DA lens on the Q10 a 1200mm equivalent will be large if i want decent maximum aperature. I can always use the FA 80-200/4.7-5.6, but the quality will be bad. Lots of people have posted great pictures handheld with the big Sigmas. 50-500, 150-500 and 500.

Of course 1200mm is extreme, but even a lens like the DA*300 feels weird on something as small as the NEX.
