I could dig it...gotta love the music in that ad.

What I really wanted from them was the 50/1.2, but it looks like wide angles are their game.

I'd also like to see a 13/4 that's FF compatible and more compact (and takes fillters).

Once again Adam the link you put up does not work. I already bought the far superior sigma 10mm f2.8 ex dc fisheye.

Far superior?
Do much shooting with the Samyang?
Comparison shots you can share?

The Samyang 10mm, if and when it actually appears, is purported to be rectilinear, so quite different from the Sigma.

Looks like the Pentax mount is going to be available in concert with the others, not later on. That's pretty exciting news. Almost as exciting as this lens being available in as little as a few weeks.
manual or auto focus?

According to the first sentnce of the linked article it's manual focus..
"New Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS Lens is a ultra wide-angle manual focus lens designed for CS / cropped sensors APS-C cameras."

I've been drooling over this lens for a long time now. Already worried its not going to happen. Hope it actually comes out and works as well as some of the other Samyang primes!

So... Why not take the Tamron 10-24? You lose 1 stop, but it is cheaper and more flexible.

The question wasn't directed at me, but if the Samyang 10 is as good as my Samyang 14 it will be sharper than the Tamron 10-24.

Don't misinterpret that as a criticism of the 10-24. I am very happy with the lens. It is incredibly versatile due to that zoom range, handles flare well, and gives overall good results.

It was there, now it's gone. It must have been pulled for some reason.
