Perhaps they would. The ephotozine results were shot with a Nikon D300, and were much less sharp, so much so that I suspect sample variation issues with lens. I've been looking at full rez shots taken with a Nikon D7100 on flickr. Those shots consistently display a surprisingly rapid reduction of resolution along the edges. Sample variation? or problem with Nikon's 24 MP sensor resolving edges on this lens?
The one
high resolution example, shot with the Pentax K-5iis, published in the brand new PF review of the lens, shows more promise; but it's hard to make any definitive conclusion from just one example.
