Just received this email promo from CRK. Maybe this is of interest to people who had wanted the K-3 Silver but missed out on the earlier order.

Looks like the situation in France is similar to that in Scandinavia. One month ago I picked up my K-3 silver for 1350 euros with 3 year warranty from a major French online/bricks and mortar store. Still possible to find a new K-3 silver here and prices have dropped considerably since launch. For the interested Frenchies: Sp - they still have the silver edition for 1450 euros and they're offering 100 euros off all K-3s and K-3 kits until end of March. Profitez-bien !

I don't like the silver, nor do I care two hoots about any form of perceived exclusivity. But I wanted one but couldn't get one because the Aussie stock was sold out pre-delivery (actually pretty much so where the black ones). The ONLY reason I wanted it was for the great deal that included the grip. But too late now as I have a black one (and absolutely love it), but still no grip.

With the Silver package there is also an extra battery. So a pretty good deal.

I'd love to have one. Add a black battery grip and use black lenses would give me a nostalgic effect of a silver body with a motor drive during my film days. Sigh, I wish I can afford one now.

There are some dealer´s in Sweden who got the K-3 Silver ltd left, for example Pentax K-3 hus Premium Silver inkl batterigrepp D-BG5 silver digital systemkamera Cyberphoto. They have the K-3 for 10990 SEK, appr 1211 € or 1276 $.
