Ricoh Pattent Focal reducer

Ricoh 0.7???????????????????????So-net???
Anyone care to elaborate on it....... something like a metabones reducer...????

It appears to be a front mounted wide angle converter.

If I understand the google translation correctly, the adapter is designed for cameras with 1/1.7" sensor.
Maybe something like the Wide conversion Lens GW-2 for Ricoh GR Digital IV.

The optical diagram in the patent shows the 0.7x converter in front of a 4.6-17.8 mm f/1.9-3 zoom lens made for 1/1.7" sensors (equivalent focal length: 21-84mm).

So, the answer for the Q7 Wide perhaps?
