I guess that complaints about a small lens lineup have paid off. All but one of the 14 FA lenses for the Pentax 645 medium format system are going to be available in the US:

There seems to be a mistake in the roadmap:

- SMC Pentax-FA* 645 300mm F4 ED [IF] has no star on the roadmap (meaning it is not going to be available in the US), nevertheless it appears on the price list ($4,799.95)
- SMC Pentax-FA 645 300mm F5.6 ED [IF] has a star on the roadmap (meaning it is going to be available in the US), nevertheless it doesn't appear on the price list.

The only new camera shop in Fairbanks, AK carries Pentax now so there's support at the end of the world. Quoting an employee from the store: "Weather proofing and great performance, that's why we picked them up. It's a camera actually built to handle our weather."

San Jose. I actually was just at San Jose Camera. They had a K-5II, a K-500, and a K-3, a Q-7, and a WG3. That's four more cameras than they had in 2010-2011.

TI think some folks are still hopeful a future design might be mirrorless and use different length adapters for either 645 or K-mount lenses. However there are some reasons why Pentax might never want to go that route; someone might come up with a 3rd party adapter that would fit 3rd party lenses which would defeat the purpose of selling the 645Z to begin with.
