What a loss. We only had an unfortunate few interactions, however I never took away anything less than the sense of a consummate professional and one who just oozed passion through his genuine exchanges on the forums. I remember when I did my first (and so far, only - I know, I know) Single In Challenge, there wasn't a photo of mine he skipped commenting on.
Here's an excerpt from the United States Military Academy's
Alma Mater poem, and I feel it is appropriate here:
And when our work is done,
Our course on earth is run,
May it be said, 'Well Done;
Be Thou At Peace.'
Two pictures for Bruce, albeit from several years ago. The first is from Venice, the other from Salzburg.
And here's a nontraditional shot of some flowers - was feeling creative and purposefully moved the camera during its exposure. Taken in my (previous) hometown of Bamberg, Germany.
I believe the locations of those images perfectly symbolizes this forum and community - no matter where in the world, we can share our experiences with each other and grow richer, together, because of it. Bruce was a fundamental part of that richness.
