Glad you posted about this because I wanted to comment on how fantastic it is to be able to look at all the photos at once. Bit of a screenfull in this case with over 1000 images, but very impressive to see all the entries.

Nice work! Is there some way to sort the gallery images by their original post date? Kind of like sorting by "thread start date" using the regular forum view? I think it would be nice to see the posts ordered by submission rather than by thread update date.

Boris, I think at the moment the gallery view randomizes the order, so everyone gets an equal chance of showing up at the top. Of course this makes it REALLY hard to find one particular image, and hard to keep track of new entries. I switch a bit back and forth now, and use both the new gallery view (to surprise myself, and to give anyone a chance of catching my eye), and the regular forum view (to be able to sort by thread start date for the new entries, and number of comments to see the present top 50.

...Either way, with a gallery this huge, it is easy for a photo to drown in the multitudes. My own entry has very few views, and I think at least part of that is that the chance of spotting it is just so very low now that we have around 2000 entries - and many of them brilliant. I think people tend to look primarily at the ones with top number of nominations first, and I can't really blame them - I do it myself...

(Right, I know, it could also be due to the fact that my entry is awfully bad, but honestly I don't think it is! )
