I am not forgetting it but HD Pentax DFA 645 Macro 90mm f/2.8 ED AW SR was announced on September 10th, 2012, so it doesn't count for 2013 nor 2014.

To follow on monochrome's initiative, here is a recap of the 2012, 2013 and 2014 launches. It's in French (I made it for a French forum) but quite easy to follow I hope.

H1 is always less crowded than H2 but H1 2014 is particularly calm. Dead calm. The calm before the storm? Only the future will tell.

The 28-45mm f4.5 with shake reduction for 645 format is coming, according to photographer Tanaka, He said that it's heavy, large, and expensive. The launch date is this summer or so. I have no other information. He talked about it at a 645Z launch conference in April, so somebody might have known it already.

Indeed, there was a report from Digital Camera Watch dated April 21st, 2014 on the presentation made by Ricoh Imaging on April 19th in the Ebisu Garden Room, close to theTokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. Said presentation involved Messrs Suzuki and Tanaka.

http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20140421_645238.html

During the slide show, the 645 ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that had been referred to during CP+ 2014 was introduced by Mr Tanaka as 28-45mm f/4.5 AW SR and reported as being top notch but heavy.

That would be a 14-24 F2.2 ish lens on APS-C, with a large registration distance.

You betcha that would be large heavy and expensive.

What is Q7 Crystal red, blue and white?
And now we call GR special edition, or HD coated lenses "new announcements"?
Oh well, by that token Leica with their monthly special editions of same cameras and same lenses is the busiest camera maker in the world.

But on a more serious note, what happened to Efina, btw?

Read JPT's response.

Well, I know you're mostly joking, but I think a Q7 successor looks likely. Ricoh just came out with limited editions of the Q7, which usually happens when a camera is near EOL. Yesterday they stopped taking orders for customized Q7s in Japan. They showed a new lens at CP+ and I guess that will be released alongside the body. I don't think we'll have to wait even as long at Photokina for new products.
Those are special products on Ricoh Imaging Japan website. Only 100 units are available for each.

Aside from being available with the 01 prime lens, the Q7 special editions have one more good feature over the normal editions. They come with a 3-year warranty, which is highly unusual in Japan. I hope they extend this to more models.

Well that is certainly covering your rear... taking both ends.

Yup. A hundred for crystal blue, a hundred for crystal red, and a hundred for crystal white. That's it.
