That would be a smarter idea. Of course this one is going to be silly.. Photokina is 2 months out.. and FF has been flogged to death, revived, then flogged to death again so many times it has received it's own forum for nonsense threads. It seems we have covered all ground at what possibly could be released at Photokina already. So threads like these will always turn to nonsense!

But I'd rather see silly nonsense

than serious nonsense

.. which tends to be par for the course here.

When Photokina comes we can get back to discussing serious nonsense.. the kind that really matters. And by 'really matters' I mean still doesn't matter but we can put our serious faces on at least.

the first and only post was

120mm F.4Macro.

I cannot imagine less than at least 3 new lenses announcement... one in each mount !
That would be the only way to avoïd general taunts !

K-mount counts. Q and 645 are so much less relevant for long-time Pentax users. And given the same, say, $450 tag, I'll rather buy a lens for K-mount than a lens for Q mount.
K-mount is the serious bread and butter of this poor brand.

I agree but 3 mounts is Ricoh's Pentax inheritage.
Btw, when you look at Fuji's or Samsung's last APS-C products, we should already have new f/1.4 or f/1.2 fixed lenses...
Ricoh would be irresponsive not to look/respond at it's most dangerous concurrence...

One of those mounts is a funny mount. Q is fun. But I don't want to rely on their sense of fun, and my sense of funny spending, to capture memories that matter more than "having fun".
As for the f1.4 lenses, good luck with that. I can see only a 50mm / 1.4 — and only if there is an FF announced.
