Hopefully that sort of thing is contained in the proper sub-forum...

FF goes in the FF forum.

Rumors? There's been some circulating around. The rumors will start in earnest in another month or so, I think? They'll be uncontainable in the few weeks before Photokina, as members of the press get advanced copies of new stuff.

Come on people testing those Pentax cameras - Leak some damn photos under other pseudo names. Next we will have news about "Leaked images"!

Lets do it!

P.S. I am testing a full frame Pentax K-1 with ISO 300,000 and Leaf Shutter. It also has the "Movie Button" and "Swivel Screen". Camera has NFC/wifi/blue tooth. 51 AF points with 39 Cross type AF points. 11 Frames per second. Camera will be launched with a K-mount converter for full frame lenses (So people who don't want to get rid of their vintage glass can use the new system WITHOUT Vignetting). Flash Sync speed of 1/500. Processor SAFOX XXX AFZ M D N TLD module. 30 Mega Pixels. Built in Full-Tether using USB 3.0 / HDMI and Wifi with native support to Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.

P.P.S The camera will be designed to take X-Ray of previous dead presidents and their ghosts.

Things have been remarkably quiet lately, perhaps everyone at Ricoh is exhausted by the 645z launch. It seems to me that they had been releasing a new 'something' on a regular basis but we are past due at this point. Well, maybe not as the 645z would fit as a released product.

Not sure what the time schedule on releases was, if I get time I should go back and look at new releases for the last 18 months. I remember someone saying that their marketing plan was a new product of some sort on a very regular schedule.

Looking forward to Photokina, I think it should give us a good idea of where Ricoh is heading even if they do not release a lot of new products. They've had two years now to plan for this and assuming they buy into the "must release new cool stuff at major trade shows" idea we should see something.

I would be happy with a couple new lenses like the 16-85ish on the road map.

I don't expect anything new before PhotoKina, so just days ahead we will get some news.

- K-70, 24megapixel
- GR second model
- DA(*)16-85mm
- lens for 645Z
- macro lens for Q

- some goofy prototype of a thing that does video.

That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard a rumor that Ricoh may or may not be announcing or introducing camera related products at Photokina, and some of those products may or may not carry the Pentax brand name.

But you didn't hear this from me.

I placed a $50 bet with my bookie that Ricoh will release a FF Theta. When it hits I will be a billionaire.

Oh yes, there should be something for Q, but no idea there is a need for a new body. We still have the macro-lens coming.

When has the need for something ever been a concern for Ricoh

The customer who bought it doesn't have an internet connection, so cannot post the review.

Don't fret, there's been spirited (and sometimes heated) debate for some time in the FF area. The running poll has FF release as a firm 'no' for photokina, but that hasn't stopped many hopefuls (myself included) keeping the flame alive

As you say, though, no good rumours going about for a while now. Ricoh have really put a lid on the rumour mill it would seem.
