Oh, but its is much more than that. The K-3 is incomparable with K-50 and all previous models.
New metering alone is worth the price difference.
I am eagerly looking forward to see the new models built around the K-3. And that is why, I believe, Ricoh Imaging is
not announcing a new model below the K-3, which uses a lot of K-3-tech. Not yet. I think to many people such a new model (or models?) would be more than sufficient.
If they can muster in the meantime a few more $$ by renewing the interest in the K-3, and sell the remaining K-50s, the better for them.
This
gunmetal Prestige edition is just that: a reminder to buy the K-3 and its tech at a price still higher than it will be in October / November, when a new camera that has 90% of K-3 tech is introduced.
