Perhaps none. They are totally different beasts, different AF system, different metering, everything. Perhaps some software bits could be used in image processing, but I think rather not. So far, Prime 2 and 3, and Prime M, were very different. I expect same with the new mirrorless cameras, and new DSLR cameras.
On the other hand, GR and Q may share some features. But it remains to be seen.

They will not keep jumping up sensor sizes with each Q release.

Maybe the big new button is made for it .. hah
Jokes aside, that new button is confusing, to say the least. Made to substitute a grip?

PS. 1" sensor is booring! Why everyone wants it? It's the worst possible choice for a camera.
1/1.7" sensors are so much better for casual photography. Lenses are much smaller, tele- lenses are easier to make, and the fun factor increases.

I think changing the Q's sensor size again would be a mistake. The Q's main reason for being is to be small. Look at 1" cameras:

Nikon 1 - The overall system is just as big as Micro 4/3 and just as expensive.

Sony RX10 and Panasonic FZ1000 superzooms - As big and heavy as a DSLR with lens and just as expensive.

RX100 - Impressively small and well designed but costs as much as a DSLR.

I'm not denying that these cameras have some unique capabilities, but they are all very expensive. I wonder whether the 1" sensors are even more expensive to make than APS-C. In any case, it seems like a sure way to destroy the appeal of the Q.

No place for an add-on EVF, then. Looks much the same as the Q7 in layout.

The new "knob" lacks knurls like the e-dial and 1234 dial...??? Does this mean it doesn't turn? Tea leaves for sure...

I agree, and the middle is a kind of 'flat' black on the gold and black bodies and doesnt look like machined metal and its in the same place as the ir sensor on the old models, so i reckon it could be a minimal grip with the ir sensor incorporated. maybe it pushes flush or pops out to suit different peoples preferences. really wish there was an EVF even if it was a hot shoe mounted type.

I am now looking at this Q-S1 (it seems that is the new designation) and I admit, I don't get their Q strategy.

The new Q-S1 body is practically Q7 but done in metal, like the original Q. Isn't that right?
So along with this new model above the Q7, they will have a Q7 too. So what's the exact point of this model then, if it's a Q7 capability wrapped in metal?

Does the new model above Q7 has an integrated EVF? It seems not.
Does it have an option for an external EVF? It seems not.
Does it have a swivel back LCD? It seems not.
A better, bigger battery? It seems not.
Because hardware looks totally identical to the old and capable Q7.
Is the mysterious cigarette lighter button something new and groundbreaking? We shall see.

So what's the deal with Q-S1 then? What is Ricoh Imaging's strategy with it if the hardware is almost identical to the Q7, which is the "lower model"?
Can someone enlighten me? What I wanted to say, would not it be better if one (better) model at least had an integrated swivel LCD as a reason for purchase above the "normal" model?

I think this will be a cheaper alternative to the q7. Maybe even with a 1/2.3" sensor. Q series 1.

How's about Pentax's first camera to feature semi-pro, 4K video recording? A high quality, über portable package with a great lens line-up. They'd sell truckloads and maybe even take a slice of the GoPro market if they were to also release a suitable range of accessories.

12MP is getting a lot of love on the Sony A7S, in terms of what it means for moiré, aliasing etc. Could this be done in a Q-sized package? Dunno. Maybe...

The circular thing on the front is not a logical shape for a grip, too big for an IR sensor and has no kind of grip to be turned like a dial.

Crazy suggestion - Could it be a small touch pad control?
